Supersize Me!

The movie Super Size me is a documentary showing how bad fast food can be for people. It stars Morgan (a 35 year old in shape man) who consumes only McDonald's for a month straight. He has receives advice from various pediatricians and nutritionist's before the start of his project and they also gather data on his health. Morgan provides much information on the harm that fast food is doing not only to American people, but the whole world. Before he starts he sets ground rules about his plight; he must eat three square meals a day, only things that can be sold over the counter of McDonald's is acceptable, if they ask him to super size he must say yes and finally he must walk the amount of an average American each day. After the first week we see him vomit only once on camera but there could have been more times. He ends up gaining ten pounds the first week and continues his mission. After three weeks he sees his doctors and they highly advise him to stop eating fast food because it is killing his liver. By this time he has already gained 20 pounds and he is sluggish, tired and almost addicted to the food. He continues to explain that American's spend large sums of money each year on thousands of different, easier ways to lose weight when what they should really do is eat less fast food and exercise more. After disregarding the advice from his doctors, Morgan continues and eventually finishes his thirty straight days of eating McDonald's. He resulted in gaining over twenty-five pounds, doubling his risk of heart attack and heart disease, he felt sluggish and lazy a lot and his sex life went down the drain. His final statement is that the American people should stand up to Fast food and seek an alternative, unless they want to live a highly unhealthy lifestyle.
